Had served in U.S. Marine Corps with LHO at El Toro, CA. His Marine Corps Serial # was 167334. 11/23/63, 8 am to 9 am, Grand Prairie policeman J. C. Murdock told Detective Sims that Larry (sic) Thornley, w/m 24, 1824 Dauphine, New Orleans, a waiter, was close friend of LHO. Alleged LHO and Thornley had recently been in Caifornia and Mexico together. His wife, Jean Hack, in New Orleans, talked to Anthony Shemroske, artist re Thornley and LHO. His father: Whittier, CA, photoengraver. Made California and Mexico trip 5/9/63. Died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1998, in Atlanta of cardiac arrest at age 60.
