Born 1916. Died Oct. 6, 1962, near Dillon, Montana, in plane explosion. His pilot, Shelly E. Sudderth, was from Dallas, TX, and died in same explosion. Son on Tom Slick "king of the wildcatters". Chairman of board of Slick Oil Company which had been founded by his father. Board chairman of Transworld Resources Corp., director of Dresser Industries, Bailey Selburn Oil & Gas Ltd., and Slick Airways, Inc. which had been founded by Earl Frates Slick.
