AMMUG-1. 201-749651. DOB: August 24, 1935. POB: Regla, Havana Province, Cuba. Defected Cuban intelligence officer debriefed by Joseph Langosch April 23, 1964. CIA traces indicated Rodriguez was Chief Gambling Bureau Department of Technical Investigations National Revolutionary Police Cuba 1959. Defected in Canada 21 April 1964. Entered Canada on Cuban Diplomatic Passport D/64/39 which he described as "issued for illicit travel." Also had regular Cuban passport 22560. Claimed to have documents for delivery to Cuban Intelligence Agents and travelled to Mexico March 1964 to hold intelligence meetings. Wife, Luisa Rodriguez, resides Apt 4, Intre 21, Morro Cojimar, Havana. Aunt of wife, Caridad Timoneda, 252 SW 8th St., Miami. Brother-in-law, Pablo Rodriguez, 2852 West 20th St., New York City.
