Comments:

White male. 5" 7". Brown eyes and hair. DOB: 3/21/37 in San Jose, Costa Rica. On 9/13/63 was issued B-2 (visitor's) visa valid for multiple entries to U.S. until 9/13/67. Mid-Sept. 1963, Porras departed San Jose for Miami where he contacted anti-Castro Cubans. Left Miami for Merida, Yucatan, where he contacted Cuban Consul attempting to obtain a visa to Cuba. Request denied. He traveled to Mexico City where he stayed at small hotel near Palace of Fine Arts. On Saturday (he believed it was 9/28/63) he called at Cuban Embassy where he was stopped by a guard and told embassy was not open. He was requested to return on Monday. He did not return to Embassy but several days later took bus for Nuevo Laredo. Boarded Greyhound bus at Laredo for Dallas where after several days he went to New Orleans where he remained 4 or 5 days then returned to San Jose, Costa Rica. (Any connection to Wm George Gaudet? Any connection to "crank letter" mailed from Costa Rica?)

Search Tips

1. Type one or more words into a search box and hit Enter or click the Search button.
2. If you type multiple words, search results includes pages which feature any of the words (pages with multiple and rare words are ranked higher).
3. Use double-quotes to enclose phrases (consecutive words), e.g. "Jack Ruby".
4. Use "and" to find pages containing both word/phrase A and word/phrase B, e.g.: mccone and "maurice bishop".
5. Note that small words (the, by, on, etc.) are ignored.
6. Searches are not case-sensitive (e.g., KENNEDY is the same as kennedy).
