Comments:

USSR State Security Chief. Defected in February 1954 rather than assassinate NTS leader, Georgiy S. Okolovich. Poisoned while at anti-Communist meeting in Frankfurt, Germany in Sept. 1957. Appeared on "60 Minutes" re death of Georgi Markov. He is now (1980) a Professor of Psychology in United States.
