DOB: 3/25/32. POB: New York, NY. Mathematician at New York University. Attended World Youth Festival in Moscow in 1957. Met Yelena Ivanovna Pyatnitskaya, nee Kapustina, a student at Lenin Pedagogical Institute. He returned to USSR in April 1958 and married Yelena within a month. He returned to US in July 1959. His wife was refused by US because she had belonged to Komsomol. He returned to Moscow December 1960.
