DOB: 4/14/38. POB: Chicago, IL. Entered service (Marines?) at 18, a few months before LHO entered. Out of service April 1964. Died in plane crash in Lake Michigan 8/16/65. Plane en route from New York to Chicago. No survivors. 24 passengers, 6 crew members. Gordon's second wife died in crash with him. He had been a cosmetics salesman and a Marine Reservist. First wife divorced him because "he was away for such long periiods of time. Had 2 children. They live in Southern California. Mother lives in Florida. Second wife was a model. His mother remembers visiting him at Pendleton. Nothing in his records about Pendleton. He was at Parris Island. Crew: Capt.
