Reported to be one of 19 Cubans from Miami who were members of MDC training camp a LaCombe, LA in 1963. CIA information dated Jan 25, 1965. Jose Fernandez Barcena resident Chicago. Journalist. DOB: 4/20/29. POB: Havana, Cuba. Requested by Chicago Immigration to leave US prior to 2/1/65. Cuban government denied re-entry permission. Was he a Castro spy? See Osvaldo Anaya. Bringuier said Fernando FERNANDEZ Barcena was identified as a Castro agent. (MMF 1762)
