DOB: 6/9/26. POB: Corlice, Poland. Defected, with wife Mary and three children, to USSR July 16, 1960 from US Army in Germany. Tried to return to US March 22, 1962. His wife told by Russians that her husband had been found in a drunken state and placed in hospital where he died in November 1963 (HSCA Vol 12, p. 444). He had lived in Tujanea, CA. "13 U.S. defectors between 1958 and 1960 among them 5 KGB agents (one of them was Dutkanicz)." 201-289236. In May 1964, the three children joined Mary Dutkanicz in the United States. Marguerite Stevens gave his file number as MS-10724.
