Jack Ruby was in New Orleans to see her in June 1963 (CD 4, pp. 663, 667; CD 75, p. 493) working at Sho-Bar. Formerly married to Junior Conforto in N.O., LA (Dec. 1963). Son approximately 2-yrs. living with her sister-in-law in New Orleans. She resided at Holiday Inn, Dallas, where she kept her 1963 Cadillac convertible. Died May 9, 1980, at age 44, when her motorcycle was struck by a school bus in Albuquerque, NM. Was using name Janet "Jada" Adams Washington. Survived by son, Joseph J. Conforto and son, Edward M. Washington. Buried in Metairie, LA, Lakelawn Park Cemetery.
