Wife: Johnnie S. Bowers; son: Mark (living in Calif. in 1992); his parents: Lee E. & Gladys Bowers (both retired, 3323 Santa Theresa, Dallas, TX (214) 279-0539. His parents said in 1977 that Johnnnie was no longer living in Texas. Bowers died in strange automobile accident 8/9/66 at age 41. Accident occurred in Midlothian, Tx. Bowers died at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. On 5/7/92, Now It Can Be Told (Geraldo Riviera) show had Walter T. Rishel say he was a "friend" of Bowers and that Bowers lost finger shortly before his death. Rishel and wife, Mary L., lived around corner from Bowers when Bowers was on Maple Grove Ln. Rishels owned 10409 Lake Gardens (DA 4-4235).
