Spied for British intelligence service, MI-6 and CIA. Worked with Col. Oleg Penkovsky. Captured in Budapest in November 1962, tried in Moscow in May 1963, and spent 18 months in Lubyanka Prison in Moscow. Died Wednesday, February 28, 1990, in Cromwell Hospital in London, at age 71.
