Wife: Ginny - died September 1968. DOB: 1907 Operated Colony Club at 1322-1/2 Commerce. Discovered Candy Barr. Immigrated to USA from London, England in 1910 at age 3. 4/15/33 opened Triangle Club, Dallas. Owned clubs in Dallas, Houston and Ft. Worth. Opened Studio Lounge, Oak Lawn and Lemmon, Dallas. Later sold it to Jack Ruby. Abe's son Larry Weinstein opened a club Encounters atop the Doubletree Inn in December 1985. Two other sons, Mark and Steve Weinstein owned a club in Austin in 1985 - Tootsy's. DOD: Tuesday, January 4, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Survived by four sons: Steven, Larry and Gary of Dallas, and Mark of Austin. Weinstein's sister, Rachel Kaye, died Sunday, January 2, 2000, at age 96.
